Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)

Pay: $70 to $75 depending on experience.

# Patients/Day Treated 50-80 patients per day

Required Certifications "BLS & Stoma placement

Any wound care certification is preferred - if no wound care cert, then need to ensure that the nurse has extensive wound care background as well as experience staging wounds."

Common diagnoses/Types of wounds Patients requiring wound care, wound vacs, consults, complicated dressing changes

Experience or 'Must have' skills Wound care experience with cleaning wounds, dressing removal, wound vacs, new pt consults, skin subs, and complicated dressing changes.

What are the primary areas of hospital that they cover= Outpatient

Job Duties Outpatient clinics perform weekly follow up/ NP/ 30 day wound follow up.

Document in each chart completed daily.

Manager/Supervisor

Shifts & Scheduling "Days M-F - 8Hr shifts 8a-430p

Department is somewhat flexible.

30min lunch break (clock-out) & 2 - 15min breaks"

Weekend Requirement Closed on weekends

Holiday Requirement Closed on holidays

Is there a call or standby requirement= None

Floating Requirements None

Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy blue

Unit/Department specific orientation follows hospital orientation

Additional Notes have some WoundDocs-Wound Expert EMR system preferred

Compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
