Robot Welder 2nd Shift - $1000 Sign On Bonus!

Essential Job Functions:

• Follow safety and environmental procedures


• Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled


• Proficient communication skills


• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine welds and unload parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality


• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system


• Load, setup, operate robotic welding equipment


• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep robotic welder running smoothly and reduce downtime.


• Examine weld during welding process; observe problems with the weld and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the wire or rod


• Execute scheduling board


• Ability to use motorized walking stacker

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints


• Ability to operator cranes, overhead hoists


• Ability to use quality inspection equipment


• Proficient and basic math and computer skills


• Ability to pass eye exam

Work Environment:  The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop. 

• Indoor, noisy, hot in summer months
