Robotic Programmer Weld/Laser

Position Summary

The Robotic Programmer will oversee robotic welding and laser operations, provide mentorship and hands-on training to team members, and ensure consistent and efficient machine setup and programming. This individual will also act as a key resource in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and process optimization.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Set-up and operation of robotic weld cells and laser cutting equipment
- Program and troubleshoot robotic welding and laser systems
- Ensure timely setups to meet delivery goals in accordance with production schedules
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff in a professional and respectful manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

 Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years of robotic programming experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a production environment
- Laser programming experience preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and solve complex problems
- Excellent time management and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

 Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Capable of navigating the production facility safely
- Ability to operate office and production equipment (phones, computer, copier, etc.)
- Must be able to lift, bend, twist, and move as required in a manufacturing environment
