2nd Shift Roll Hanger 3:00pm-11:00pm 

The Roll Hanger is an essential part of the team, assisting the press operator. This position offers growth and opportunity for career advancement. From a Roll Hanger, you can advance to a Skilled Operator Trainee, learning how to operate our machines to become a Machine Operator eventually. Can perform the primary function of hanging rolls on custom and stock presses. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

• Loading rolls of paper on the press
• Assist the press operator when needed.
• Package finished product by hand.
• Obtain and sort products.
• Stamping lot number on cartons.
• Inspects materials and products at each step of the packaging process.
• Place items in appropriately sized cartons or envelopes and seal and label them.
• Review job specifications to ensure accuracy. 
• Ensure all related materials are at the press 
• Sorts bundles according to destination.
• Package and box finished products off the production lines.
• Stack finished cartons on pallets.
• General housekeeping around machinery, including keeping the press area clean and ensuring supplies are available as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, light industrial environment is  preferred.
• Lifting requirement of 50 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team player, self-motivated,  flexible, hands-on, detail and quality oriented
• Prompt and reliable
