Position Overview:

As a Roofing Climber/Insurance Specialist, you'll be the expert who safely climbs roofs, inspects damage, and works hand-in-hand with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth, accurate claims. Your role will be critical in helping clients get their homes back in shape and ensure the insurance process runs efficiently from start to finish. You’ll need to be comfortable working at heights, have a strong understanding of roofing systems, and possess the communication skills to build strong relationships with both homeowners and insurance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roof Inspections: Conduct thorough, high-quality roof inspections for residential and commercial properties, documenting damage and identifying necessary repairs or replacements.
• Climbing Roofs: Scale roofs of various shapes and sizes with ease, while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Insurance Collaboration: Work closely with insurance adjusters to provide accurate damage assessments and essential documentation to help homeowners navigate the claims process.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed reports (including photos, measurements, and damage assessments) to support claims and ensure a smooth insurance process.
• Sales Support: Assist the team by presenting findings from inspections and insurance determinations in an effective and clear manner.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution, keeping everyone in the loop and moving forward together.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in roofing, construction, or insurance claims-related roles. Previous roofing sales or insurance adjusting experience is a plus!
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with roofing systems, materials, and repair processes. Bonus points if you have experience with insurance claims terminology and processes!
• Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working at heights, carrying equipment, and climbing roofs of various pitches.
• Safety Focused: You’re knowledgeable about safety standards and committed to using fall protection gear and safety equipment.
• Communication Skills: You know how to clearly communicate with homeowners and insurance adjusters, building trust and delivering results.
• Technology Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps, inspection tools, and CRM software for documentation and reporting.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
  • Haag Certification, Xactimate experience, or adjuster’s license (preferred).
