Roof Repair Specialist

Job Summary:

JOSKO, LLC is seeking an experienced General Contractor Technician with a specialization in roof repair to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can diagnose, repair, and maintain various roofing systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and structural repairs, and embody JOSKO’s commitment to excellence, reliability, and superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform roof inspections to identify damage, leaks, and potential problem areas.


• Conduct repairs on shingle, tile, metal, TPO and flat roofs to uphold JOSKO’s high standards.


• Install roofing materials, including underlayment, flashing, and ventilation systems.


• Seal joints and waterproof areas to prevent leaks and structural damage.


• Replace damaged or deteriorated roofing components as needed.


• Work with team members to ensure job sites are safe, efficient, and aligned with JOSKO’s policies.


• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.


• Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair recommendations and project updates, ensuring a superior customer experience.


• Document work performed and maintain accurate records for job completion.


• Assist with other general contracting tasks as required to support JOSKO’s mission and operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in roof repair and installation.


• Proficiency in working with various roofing materials (shingles, metal, TPO, tile, etc.).


• Strong knowledge of waterproofing techniques and structural integrity.


• Ability to work safely at heights and on ladders.


• Skilled in using hand and power tools relevant to roofing work.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


• Ability to lift 100+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with storm damage repairs


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
