Position Overview: McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Roof Repair Technician to join our team. As a Roof Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various types of roofing systems. Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections to identify roofing issues and assess repair needs.


• Repair and replace damaged roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and membranes.


• Locate and repair leaks and water damage.


• Install flashing and sealants to prevent future leaks.


• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.


• Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.


• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in roof repair or related field.


• Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.


• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
