Roofer - Service Technician

Description

• The Service Technician will inspect the truck and keep it clean along with maintaining the inventory of materials, tools, equipment and hardware needed to perform the assigned daily.
• The Service Technician will be responsible for setting up and utilizing safety.
• The Service Technician will learn the different types of roofing systems, their components, the materials and tools used to repair them.
• The Service Technician will learn to use those materials and tools to make the repairs required.
• Assume designated responsibilities of the Service Technician in his/her absence.

• The Service Technician should have excellent customer service abilities.
• The Service Technician should have working knowledge of and/or experience with roof system types.
•  The Service Technician should have a willingness to learn how to properly diagnose and repair all roof systems.
• Must be able to work with and learn from fellow technicians and lead techs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing details, manufacturer specifications and repair procedures as defined by the NRCA.
• Proficiency with Tablets and Software such as Microsoft AX / Field Service Administration.
