Roofing Permit Administrator

Ultimate Staffing is searching for a strong Roofing Permit Administrator in Fort Lauderdale. The duties of this role include preparing building permit packages, document management, and other administrative duties in support of the operations team. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the permitting process, prepare permit applications, and permit packages to submit to each municipality in Broward and Miami/Dade counties.Make sure the required documentation for permit approval is completed.Communicate with city officials to clarify any pending requirements.Coordinate/schedule installations and inspections.Ensure all incoming business requests are handled professionally and efficiently.Adhere to the Company lead sheet when answering inbound calls.Assist Account Managers with proposals, contracts, and client follow-ups.Schedule all inspections (City/Manufacturer/Engineer).Register and request warranties.Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.Organized, detailed and thorough in planning and execution.Able to demonstrate proficiency using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction related packages.Willing and able to multi-task.Self-motivated and a self-starter.At least 3+ years of basic roofing knowledge is a must.
