Steep-Slope Roofing Repair Technician

Allcon Roofing is looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Steep-Slope Roofing Repair Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a strong individual with extensive knowledge of steep-slope roofing systems, particularly asphalt shingles. The ideal candidate is confident performing thorough roof inspections, diagnosing roofing issues, completing quality repairs, communicating directly with homeowners, and accurately documenting each job.

Experience and strong knowledge of slate, cedar, and metal roofing systems is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of steep-slope roofing systems


• Identify leaks, damage, deterioration, installation issues, and potential problem areas


• Diagnose roofing issues and determine the appropriate repair solution


• Complete high-quality roofing repairs safely and efficiently


• Work with asphalt shingles and various steep-slope roofing systems


• Communicate professionally with homeowners and clearly explain inspection findings and recommended repairs


• Take detailed before, during, and after job photos


• Document job progress, repairs completed, materials used, and additional findings


• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite


• Follow all company safety procedures and steep-slope roofing safety practices


• Represent Allcon Roofing professionally while interacting with customers

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience in steep-slope roofing


• Strong knowledge of asphalt shingle roofing systems and repair techniques


• Ability to perform detailed roof inspections and accurately identify roofing issues


• Strong understanding of roofing materials, construction, and repair methods


• Experience with slate, cedar, and metal roofing is a strong plus


• Ability to safely navigate and work on steep-slope roofs


• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Comfortable speaking directly with homeowners and explaining findings


• Strong documentation skills


• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job photos, notes, and documentation


• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned jobs


• A valid driver's license


• Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious
