As a Roofing Sales Representative at Integ Roof & Gutter Co., you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include engaging with potential customers, providing detailed estimates, and ensuring our crew has the necessary information to successfully complete roofing projects.

This is a commission-based, independent contractor (1099) position, operating Monday through Friday. You will receive leads from our office manager as they become available, primarily within the Long Beach, South Bay, and Orange County areas.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a background in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate should be a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, ready to commit long-term and leverage the opportunity for growth and uncapped commission potential within our dynamic company.

 

Job Duties

  • Meet prospective customers at job sites to

    • Conduct appointments and gain all necessary information required to make accurate price estimates

    • Take measurements

    • Take and upload photos to our CRM

    • Diagnose and educate homeowners on the issues they have in their home taking a consultative sales approach

    • Provide solution options to customer

    • Talk through customer concerns

  • Write up estimates and send to customers based on anticipated job costs such as material expenses, required labor, project length, and overhead.

  • Follow up with prospects to encourage contract signing

  • Order materials for signed projects

  • Coordinate with company’s foreman via phone call to handoff new project details and discuss job scheduling

  • Check in with customers as needed to touch base on project progress and manage change orders as needed

  • Visit job sites as needed for customer relationship building

  • Ability to attend occasional team meetings

  • Basic computer and mobile device skills

  • Weekly check-in calls with owners

  • Maintain reporting for lead tracking and won contracts (know your numbers)

 

MUST HAVE Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales 

  • Extensive knowledge of the roofing industry

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a hunter-type mentality

  • Must have an active HIS License with the CSLB

  • A reliable vehicle that is large enough to transport a ladder and other necessary equipment for taking measurements

  • Valid Social Security Card and Driver’s License

  • Must be local to Long Beach, South Bay, or Orange County

  • Great verbal and written communication skills

  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Punctuality and attention to detail

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with CRMs is a plus, especially Acculynx

  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required

  • Understanding of roofing measurement tools such as EagleView and iRoofing

  • Access to a laptop or tablet

  • History selling solar panels is a plus

  • Background in designing sales materials and training on sales processes

  • Team leadership experience in a role driving business growth
