Description

The Springhill Suites Hotel is currently seeking individuals for the positions of Housekeeping Inspector to join our housekeeping team at our Stepstone Hospitality managed hotel. 

The role is to ensure that the cleaning of guest rooms, public space and back of the house are up to standard.

Responsibilities include:

· Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.

· Take all incoming housekeeping calls and respond the guest’s needs.

· Log all missing items and maintain catalog of lost and found and ship or mail out claimed items to the guests.

· Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.

· Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

· Ability to accurately report information.

· Ability to scrupulously follow all Stepstone and hotel policies and procedures.

· Attend required meetings.

· Additional language ability preferred.

Requirements

 MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 9:00AM TO 6:00PM WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS INCLUDED

• Ability to work with management on special projects
• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 20 lbs
• Must be able to communicate via radio and phone as needed
• Hours 9:00am
