Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are cleaned thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the guest experience by maintaining excellent standards of hotel cleanliness. The Hotel Housekeeper will be responsible for reporting any maintenance problems and handling guest requests or complaints. The candidate will also ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Responsibilities:

• Clean all areas of the hotel thoroughly, including guest rooms, guest and service corridors, and housekeeping office.

• Report any maintenance problems to the appropriate department.

• Handle guest requests or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and team members.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.

• Ability to work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold), variable noise levels, around fumes and/or odor hazards, around dust and/or mite hazards, around chemicals, and around bio-hazards.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
