Position Summary: The Room Attendant is responsible for preparing and presenting the guest room to the very high standards of The Lantern Columbia.

Essential Job Functions 

• Preparing and presenting the guest room to the very high standards of The Lantern Columbia.  Perfectly clean, perfectly set.


• Check-outs take a bit longer: remove soiled linens, remake the bed, remove trash, reset all items, vacuum, dust, sanitize and clean the bathroom floors, shower, vanity, and basin, replace amenities when needed.  


• Services take less time: bed remade, terry replaced, trash removed, vacuum, present room to show guests we care for the them.


• Complete tasks within the designated time periods for check-outs and services.  


• Immediately report any technical issues and maintenance needs using our app.  


• Update status of guest rooms on device.  


• Restock cleaning cart, inform Housekeeping Support when guest floor closets are in need of linen and supplies.  


• Follow all health and safety rules.


• Attend meetings as required.


• Be a great teammate, especially when paired with another team member.  

Experience and Education: 

Having cleaned before (hotel, residential, commercial, stewarding) is a plus, but not necessary.  We'll hire for energy, heart, attention to detail and can train you.  

Do need a High school diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent
