Room Attendant - FT - AM Shift

Essential Functions:

The Room Attendant will provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. 

Room attendant responsibilities include 

• changing towels, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms. 
• Make sure our rooms are fully stocked, and clean.
• Change bed linen and make beds.
• Replace used towels.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Replenish bath care products (e.g., soap and shampoo).
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Address guests’ queries (e.g., on additional services).
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift.
• Follow hotel security guidelines.

• STANDING/WALKING: Constantly.
• KNEELING/CRAWLING: Constantly.
• STOOPING (BEND AT WAIST): Constantly.
• TWISTING (KNEES/WAIST/NECK): Constantly.
• REACHING (OVERHEAD/EXTENSION): Constantly.
• HANDLING/GRASPING: Constantly.
• CROUCHING (BEND AT KNEES): Frequently.
• BALANCING: Frequently.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Full-time position. 
• Flexible to work Holidays and weekends
• Shift Times: Mon. – Sat. – 8:00am – 4:30pm and Sun. – 9:00am –5:30pm

Requirements

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
•  Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must be in full uniform every shift.
• Customer service attitude.
