ROUTE DRIVER

Description

S&S Truck Tire of Lexington, KY, a leading multi-location regional commercial tire & trailer servicing dealer, is seeking an experienced Route Driver. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. If you are a true professional, with superior skills, you need to apply today! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering tires to customers
• Pulling and loading tires
• Use of a handheld device to write up inventory
• Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary

Position Includes:

• $17.00-$19.00/hour with consistent overtime, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience of a commercial vehicle (over 10,000 lbs)
• Minimum driving age of 23 years old
• Good motor vehicle record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
• Valid driver’s license - in good standing
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
• Attention to detail
• Commitment to being on time
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift tires and orders up to 150 lbs
