ROUTE DRIVER

Description

S&S Tire of Columbia, SC, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer is seeking an experienced DRIVER. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. Non-CDL candidates will be driving a 22–26-foot box truck.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering tires to our customers, driving roughly 300 miles/day 
• Monday - Friday, 6 am to 3 pm
• Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary
• Pulling and loading tires

Position Includes:

• Starting at $17.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Full-time, weekly pay, with consistent overtime

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience of a commercial vehicle (over 10,000 lbs)
• Good motor vehicle record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
• Valid driver’s license - in good standing
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift tires and orders
