Route Driver

Description

Type: Full Time

Pay: $18.00/hr

· Responsible for the efficient delivery of Commissary to facilities in the State of North Carolina

· Separating and preparing individual inmate commissary orders for distribution to inmates in the respective assigned housing location.

· Loading/Unloading of totes at each correctional facility.

· Distributing individual commissary orders to inmates at times and locations as directed by the facility administrator.

· Compliance with all safety and health standards set forth by the company as well as government regulation.

· Work closely with the Remote Site Managers or home office to provide great service to the assigned facilities including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.

Requirements

· Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.

· Assist in ensuring overall efficiency of onsite commissary operation and client satisfaction.

· Ensure that all facility security regulations and procedures are adhered to by all company staff on site.

· Carry out duties as assigned by company management.

Minimum requirements

· Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level.

· Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Have the ability to work in a secure corrections environment.

· Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical

Abilities required

· Lift items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds to a height of 54 inches

· Ability to communicate verbally

· Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
