Route Driver

Job Description: 

The Service Technicians play a pivotal role in the success of our field service team, including the pickup, delivery and servicing of Portable Restrooms and other products. Our Service Technicians are responsible for providing productive, safe and quality work in the field. This Role frequently works directly with the Field Service Staff, and with other departments.   

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide quality service to portable restrooms as assigned and routed.
  


• Service includes removing waste, adding water and fresh deodorizer, cleaning and disinfecting the interior/exterior, replenishing supplies, and performing minor repairs.
  


• Pickup, deliver, and install portable restrooms and other products as assigned and routed.  
  


• Complete all assigned service appointments, maintaining contact with the field service team throughout the day. 
  


• Keep the field service team updated with progress in real time and communicate with the team regularly to receive additional instructions.
  


• Use personal protective equipment and clothing as required. 
  


• Work in a safe manner and use safety equipment as required.
  


• Report any safety hazards, accidents/incidents, and customer concerns in a timely manner to Supervisor, Manager, or Field Service Team. 
  


• Complete daily Pre and Post Trips vehicle inspections to remain compliant and ensure safe vehicle operation.  
  


• Truck at the end of each Shift, to include pumping out waste, adding fresh water and restocking supplies as needed.  


• Keep vehicle Clean, Organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
  


• May be required to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications: 

• Must have a current and valid driver's license
  


• Successful completion of all Pre-employment screenings, and DOT Physical
  


• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
  


• Ability to shift, lift and push 50-150 pounds throughout the day

• Ability to use a hand truck to help maneuver portable toilet units
  


• Detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills
  


• One or more years in a service-related role with problem-solving skills is preferred

Physical Requirements: 
 

• Must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, and walking; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to wear personal protective equipment.
  


• Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials.
  


• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including both extreme heat and cold.
  


• Must be able to drive a CMV.
