We are looking to hire a responsible and reliable Part-time Morning Route Driver, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:
Provide daily pick-up and delivery services of dental cases or other related items from/to our customers using most efficient routes and time schedules.
Must have strong communication and time management skills.
This position requires a professional appearance and demeanor, always remembering that you are the face of Udell Dental Laboratory. We expect you to treat all our customers with courtesy, respect and focus on exceeding their expectations and needs.
Load a company provided vehicle with bags, containers, and/or other items to be delivered, and ensure they are packaged and loaded correctly.
Follow Udell Dental protocols in maintaining upkeep and cleanliness of company vehicle, including checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
Maintain an excellent driving record, observing all rules of the road and exhibit proper safety at all times.
Must be flexible and receptive to changes/alterations in the delivery route to meet the needs of our customers.
Must be able to answer front office phone calls from our customers.
Participate in Udell Dental sponsored training and meetings as required.
Support and incorporate Udell Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Must be able to clean and sanitize incoming dental cases.
Perform other light office duties such as answering phone calls, filing, cleaning, laundry.
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Detail oriented
Personable individual with good oral communication skills
Acceptable driving record
Ability to deal with stressful situations caused by driving conditions and/or run schedules or changes
Professional and neat in appearance
Customer service oriented
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 25lbs
