Roving Property Maintenance Technician

$55-60K + Travel expenses

Arbors Management Inc. has a new opening for a Roving Property Maintenance Technician in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.  This position will be a hands-on Technician that performs work orders and manages unit turn-overs. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall, Painting and some HVAC knowledge (no certification is required).  Applicants must have their own tools and transportation (vehicle reimbursement is included).

Responsibilities of the Roving Property Maintenance Technician include:

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for projects and work orders
• Complete work orders including but not limited to unit turnovers, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other related maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors that perform work at our properties.
• Complete work orders in the software tracking system
• Travel throughout Pittsburgh and the surrounding area to complete scheduled maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of Building Trades / Maintenance experience 
  • Computer/Internet knowledge
  • Must have a valid driver's license and work vehicle (preferably a truck or van)
  • Must have your own hand tools (power tools will be assigned)
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Physical ability to lift 60 lbs, climb stairs / ladders and otherwise perform maintenance tasks
  • Work well in a team environment
• Preferred
  • Associates degree or higher in a building trades program
  • Experience with building mechanical systems
  • HVAC experience
