ROVING PAINTERS and PAINTER'S ASSISTANTS  – ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexible 8-hour shift within this window)
Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 – $36.00/hour (Based on skill level – see breakdown below)

Purpose
Pan American Properties is a property management service provider, and we are actively seeking dependable Painters of all skill levels to join our growing roving maintenance team. This role plays a vital part in preserving the appearance, quality, and value of our residential properties throughout the Orange County and Long Beach region.

Whether you're new to painting or bring years of hands-on experience, we’re looking for individuals who take pride in their craft, value precision, and are motivated to grow their skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Painting Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (sanding, patching, priming, taping, etc.)

• Apply paint using brush, roller, or sprayer techniques

• Mix and match paints for consistent finishes

• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment

General Labor & Maintenance Support

• Assist with job site setup and cleanup (drop cloths, scaffolding, etc.)

• Support other minor maintenance or repair tasks as directed

• Perform basic preventative maintenance when needed

Safety & Work Order Execution

• Use proper PPE and follow company safety procedures at all times

• Safely handle and store paint and related chemicals

• Complete assigned work orders on schedule and to quality standards

• Communicate job progress and issues clearly to supervisor/team

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• All experience levels encouraged to apply – from apprentice to master

• Entry-level candidates should bring a willingness to learn and work hard

• Experienced painters should demonstrate confidence in prep, finishing, and cleanup

Skills & Traits

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Basic knowledge of painting tools and techniques (advanced knowledge preferred for higher skill levels)

Requirements

• Must have valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required)

• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role (lifting, bending, standing, reaching, etc.)

Pay Breakdown (Hourly Rate Based on Experience & Proficiency):

• Level 1 – Apprentice: $21.00–$24.00

• Level 2 – Assistant: $24.00–$26.00

• Level 3 – Pro: $27.00–$30.00

• Level 4 – Master: $31.00–$33.00

• Lead Painter (Crew Lead): $34.00–$36.00
