Royal South Toyota Mazda Volvo is hiring a Lube Rack Tech to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. This will be a full-time hourly position responsible for executing light preventive & scheduled maintenance services on customer vehicles. The ideal candidate pays extra attention to detail, learns quickly, and will service vehicles accurately and effectively once trained. If you want to become a factory trained technician in the automotive industry, we have the resources and traffic for you. You will be responsible for your work area cleanliness and helping the shop stay neat & organized whenever time permits. Responsibilities & Possible Duties

-Perform lube, oil and filter services on customer vehicles using manufacturer appropriate practices and process.

-Perform tire services including tire rotation, repair, & tire balancing.

-Perform minor vehicle maintenance services, such as air and cabin filter replacement.

-Test and inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or repairs needed.

-Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer, dealership and governmental standards.

-Communicate clearly & respectfully with customers and fellow team members.

-Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

-Some knowledge of automotive maintenance
-Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-Must have basic hand tools
-Ability to lift, carry and move up to 30 lbs
-Ability to use computer to access repair information
