RRT-Pediatrics (Travel/ Contract)

Aci Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. This position requires a strong foundation in respiratory therapy techniques, excellent patient interaction skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status.
• Provide basic life support and advanced airway management when necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in the management of patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and medication administration.
• Participate in the development of care plans for patients.
• Document patient care activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) year of experience.
• NICU/PICU experience required.
• BLS, CRT
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Proficiency in medication administration related to respiratory care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
