Job Description - Runner


Position Summary

This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the office. This role provides essential facilities, administrative, and logistical support to maintain a clean, organized, and productive studio environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, proactive, and able to manage both routine and special tasks independently or with limited supervision.
 

Essential Functions

· Run office errands, including local deliveries and pick-ups.

· Distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate team members.

· Prepare and send outgoing shipments using carriers such as FedEx and UPS.

· Provide front desk support as needed, including answering phones, greeting guests, and covering receptionist breaks.

· Restock and maintain the kitchen and breakroom areas, including monitoring coffee supplies, dishware, refrigerator items, and general cleanliness.

· Move and organize office supplies and equipment to ensure proper storage and accessibility.

· Support overall office cleanliness and presentation by performing tasks such as wiping down tables, chairs, and cabinets, tidying shared spaces, and assisting with occasional deep cleaning projects (e.g., cleaning furniture or entry areas).

· Assist with the setup and breakdown of meetings and events, including arranging seating, placing materials, setting up refreshments, and light post-event cleanup.

· Assist with internal office moves by helping transport small furniture, equipment, or supplies between workstations or into storage.

· Transport office items to and from nearby storage units. 

· Take corporate vehicles for fuel and car washes as needed.

· Support special projects and one-time tasks assigned by office leadership or teams (e.g., assembling welcome packets, organizing interiors sample, labeling materials, etc.)

· Document completed errands and assigned tasks to ensure clear communication and accountability
 

Required Qualifications

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the office

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

· Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

· Willingness to take initiative and complete both routine and ad hoc assignments

· Demonstrated interest in architecture or interior design (preferred)

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to hazardous working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
