RV Lot Porter

Position Summary:

• Our dealership Body Shop currently has an opening for an energetic, self-motivated, and organized Porter. The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick learner, able to work at a fast pace, and can safely transport RV units. Dealership experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate who is eager to work.

Essential Functions:

• Move RV inventory of varying size safely around the dealership lot
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of RV inventory, lot and company property
• Provide support for service and sales functions as needed
• Move vehicles to maintain flow of traffic
• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

Education, Experience and Work Requirements:

• High School or GED
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable, driving record
• Pre-employment background check, including drug screening

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience driving RVs/campers preferred (5th wheel, bumper pull, Class-A, Class-C, etc.)
• Forklift experience preferred but not required- will train
• Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
