Mission
The RV Rental Technician is responsible for thorough preparation of rental units prior to customer pick up, to include light mechanical maintenance, detailed exterior and interior cleaning, hook ups to customer vehicles, and equipment demonstration.

Pay: $16-$20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, must also be available on Saturdays 

Outcomes
Successful candidates will:

• Thoroughly wash exteriors of units using a variety of cleaning solutions, to include awnings, wheels, fiberglass, metal and roofs
• Meticulously clean interiors of units using a vacuum and related equipment, to include floors, furniture and upholstery, appliances, hard surfaces, cupboard doors, floor vents, ceilings and window vent screens
• Perform waste tank dumps
• Stock rental units with any supplies ordered by the customer
• Perform basic routine maintenance on units, such as rotating tires, oil and filter changes, belt adjustments, etc., as required or expected
• Through demonstration and interaction with customers, review the operation and functionality of units and accessories during pick up; review maintenance tips and provide additional information and assistance to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Hook up travel trailer rental to renter’s vehicle, assuring fully functional and safe towing capability
• Report to management a description of any internal or external damage or defective equipment discovered to units

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Previous cleaning experience helpful, but not required
• Experience with basic auto maintenance tasks desirable

• Observant and well organized
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers
• Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job functions

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Using hands to grasp, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, and reaching with arms/hands, are required. May use ladders and scaffolding to clean hard to reach areas.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, and up to 10 pounds frequently, to move objects.
• Some exposure to adverse environmental conditions; work is performed inside of recreational vehicles, which may be located inside or outside of the facility.
