RV Service Technician

Description

As an RV Service Technician at Hilltop Camper & RV, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer-owned RVs and campers, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining the standard of excellence we’re known for. Your ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve will help customers get back on the road with confidence.

We’re looking for a RV Service Technician who…

• Has hands-on experience in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Exudes a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Is comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in RVs and campers.
• Advise service writers and customers on required repairs.
• Perform repairs following company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document repairs, including before-and-after photos.
• Complete detailed repair orders with precise information on causes and corrections.
• Stay updated on industry developments and maintain knowledge of RV systems.
• Work with the parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered and available for repairs.
• Tag and store warranty parts for warranty claims.
• Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Tools & Equipment:

• Must have or be willing to acquire the necessary tools and equipment to perform the job effectively.
