Safety Coordinator

Description

The Safety Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive HSE policies, programs, and initiatives that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role will also foster a proactive culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across all departments.

Requirements

• Certifications (highly preferred or required):
   
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (minimum; sometimes OSHA 500 or 510 is required)
     
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – offered by BCSP
     
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) – BCSP
     
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
     
  • MSHA Certification (if mining work is involved)
