The Safety Coordinator collaborates closely with management to implement, and continuously collaborate with our management on safety policies, procedures and programs that protect our employees, equipment, and clients. This role supports field operations by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture and proactively reducing risk across all job sites.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication and working cross-functionally with different teams to ensure employee and client safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Program Oversight & Compliance
Collaborate with management to enforce safety policies and procedures.
Conduct safety training, orientations, toolbox talks and refresher courses for employees at all levels.
Coordinate and help administer ALLBRiGHT’s safety programs to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate safety records, OSHA logs, training documentation and incident reports.
Ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules, including Cal/OSHA standards.
Incident Reporting & Investigations
Investigate, document, report, and follow up on all safety-related incidents, injuries, near misses and property damage.
Ensure incidents are reported accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with ALLBRiGHT procedures.
Track corrective actions and follow up to ensure issues are resolved and preventive measures are implemented.
Field Support & Leadership
Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Serve as a safety resource and point of contact for field and office personnel.
Promote accountability, consistency, and ownership of safety responsibilities across all crews.
Support supervisors and Crew Leaders with coaching and reinforcement of safe work practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Strong people skills with the ability to build trust and influence behavior.
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of company safety policies and applicable OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards or the ability to learn quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to conduct effective safety training or other training programs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to assess risk, make sound decisions and act decisively when safety concerns arise.
Qualifications
Required:
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both in the field and office environments.
Valid California driver’s license.
Preferred:
1 - 2 years of construction safety experience, preferably in painting, construction, specialty trades or related experience.
Experience with workers’ compensation and incident investigations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to work in active construction environments and office settings.
Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Willingness to travel between job sites throughout Los Angeles County.
