Safety Coordinator

Anderson Columbia Inc. is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator for our New Braunfels TX Location. 

Full Time Position

Monday - Friday

Pay Scale : Annual salary ranging from $72,000 to $82,000

Responsibilities - 

• Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident


• Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents, and related events


• Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks


• Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation


• Update, monitor and continue the development of company safety policies, procedures, and training programs for new and existing Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) issues.


• Conduct risk assessment


• Enforce preventative measures


• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes

Qualifications - 

• Must have Valid Driver’s License.


• Must have dependable transportation.


• MSHA Certified.


• OSHA Certified.


• Ability to travel. 


• Previous experience in the Mining Industry. 


• Basic Computer skills(Word, Excel, Outlook, ETC.)

Job Description additional details – 

• Full Time – Standard work week 50 Hrs. per week, hours may vary depending on weather.


• Work week may consist of night work.


• Must maintain reliable attendance.


• Duties can change daily depending on the project and weather.
