Job duties:
Support implementation and administration of company safety programs, policies, and procedures
Assist with OSHA and regulatory compliance efforts
Participate in field safety inspections and help identify/correct unsafe conditions and behaviors
Track inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions with project teams
Assist with incident investigations and documentation
Help coordinate and maintain employee safety training programs and records
Conduct or assist with new hire safety orientations and toolbox talks
Support development of project-specific safety plans and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
Maintain safety documentation, reports, metrics, and compliance records
Assist with subcontractor safety evaluations and performance tracking
Help research and implement updated construction safety training and best practices
Support Quality Management and Quality Control initiatives as directed
Communicate effectively with field personnel, project managers, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture
Stay informed on current construction safety trends, regulations, and industry standards
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Science or related field
OSHA 30 Preferred
A valid Driver’s License
First Aid/CPR trainer preferred
Experience
Two to Five years of experience in safety practices as they relate to construction
