  • Review and support Job Hazard Analyses, pre-task plans, and other hazard-control documentation

  • Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses

  • Track corrective actions through completion and maintain required safety documentation

  • Coordinate closely with project leadership, the general contractor, subcontractors, and the field workforce

  • Maintain a highly visible field presence and reinforce accountability across the project

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of safety experience supporting steel erection and ironworker operations

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart R

  • Must be able to discuss Subpart R requirements in detail during the interview process

  • OSHA 510 certification is required

  • Experience overseeing cranes, rigging, fall protection, welding, bolting, and elevated work

  • Strong communication, documentation, and incident-investigation skills

  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week, including some Saturdays as project conditions require

  • Available to begin as soon as possible

If you are an experienced steel-erection safety professional who can confidently support high-risk structural operations, we want to hear from you.
