Are you a strategic safety leader ready to drive culture change and safeguard people across a growing organization? We’re looking for an experienced Safety Manager to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across our national operations and inspire a best-in-class safety culture.

🔍 About the Role

As our Safety Manager, you will provide expert guidance in all aspects of Environmental Health & Safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local branch leaders to implement proactive safety practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote employee wellbeing at every level.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and shape Ambient/MIH’s national safety strategy and drive a strong safety culture across all branches.


• Partner with leadership to ensure OSHA compliance and facilitate successful inspections and audits.


• Investigate serious incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote transparency and improvement.


• Design and implement hazard control strategies, programs, and trainings.


• Evaluate and enhance safety programs, rules, and equipment across job sites.


• Monitor and analyze accident trends and develop solutions to mitigate risk.


• Provide guidance on complex safety issues in the field and on-site.


• Oversee training documentation and ensure third-party compliance standards are met.


• Collaborate with insurance providers, trade groups, and industry professionals to stay ahead of trends.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene (required)


• CIH or CSP certification (preferred)


• OSHA 500/501 Certification (preferred)


• 5–10 years of construction safety experience


• Union experience and multi-branch leadership experience required


• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and proven ability to lead compliance efforts


• 2–3 years of Safety-specific training delivery
