  • Analyze safety trends, incident data, and field conditions to develop strategic improvements and long-term prevention initiatives

  • Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis, determining corrective actions and prevention strategies, not just documenting events

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs and initiatives aligned with regulatory requirements and company risk profile

  • Provide guidance and direction to supervisors, foremen, and field personnel on safety compliance and best practices

  • Maintain accountability for ensuring company-wide safety practices align with evolving regulatory standards and industry expectations

  • 5+ years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and multi-state safety regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and make independent decisions impacting safety and compliance

  • Experience developing or managing safety programs (not just enforcing them)

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel 40%–80% to job sites, including overnight or off-hours as needed

  • Recommended but not required CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHST (Construction Health & Safety Tech), OHST, OSHA 500/510
