Safety Manager

Location: Leipsic, OH

Duration: 1 month- 9/7/26 to 10/12/26

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Per Diem: None

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

⏰ Schedule: 10 or 12-hour days- 20-25 hours per week- Weekends only - Guaranteed Saturdays and most Sundays. If there is no work on Sunday, the contractor will know a few days in advance.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30

✔ 3+ years of construction safety experience

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Manufacturing facility construction or shutdown experience

⭐ Mechanical construction experience

⭐ Demolition project experience

⭐ Experience supporting crane and rigging operations

⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily safety activities throughout all phases of the shutdown and expansion project


• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments


• Monitor demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit, and mechanical construction activities


• Support crane operations, rigging activities, and material handling operations


• Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements


• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation


• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans


• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records


• Partner with field supervision and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate hazards


• Promote a positive safety culture across all project activities
