Hourly Rate: $52/hr (Local)
Per Diem: No perdiem
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: M-Sat | 0700 - 1500 | 50-60hrs/week

Project Scope

The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety for structural steel/rigging safety operations for the airport terminal construction at IAH

Qualifications (Required)

• OSHA 510 with 7 years of construction safety experience.


• Must have a background specifically in rigging.


• Strong heavy industrial, rigging, and steel erection experience. Candidate must be confident in reviewing lift plans and demonstrating rigging knowledge, as the client will test this during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across multiple project sites

  
  


• 
  

  Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with project management and field teams to identify and mitigate safety risks proactively

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspections, and compliance records

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all levels of the project team
