Project Scope


The Safety Manager will provide on-site safety oversight for an electrical subcontractor supporting a large-scale data center construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring all electrical work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and client safety standards.

The position will work closely with field supervision, project management, and other safety professionals to identify hazards, conduct inspections, and enforce corrective actions. A strong presence in the field is required to proactively manage electrical safety risks and support a culture of safety across the project.

This is a long-term, two-year assignment offering stability and consistent hours on a high-profile data center build.

Qualifications


✅ OSHA 30 certification
✅ First Aid/CPR certification
✅ 5+ years of electrical safety experience
✅ Experience supporting large construction or industrial projects

Additional Requirements
✅ Ability to work on-site in San Jose, CA
✅ Availability for the full project duration
✅ Strong communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide daily safety oversight for electrical subcontractor activities

  • Conduct job site safety inspections and hazard assessments

  • Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety policies

  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations

  • Investigate incidents and near misses and document findings

  • Collaborate with project leadership to implement corrective actions

  • Maintain accurate safety records and reports
