Project Scope
The Safety Manager will support a data center project in St. Francisville, LA, focusing on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment throughout all project phases. This role will oversee daily safety activities, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards, company policies, and site-specific safety protocols.
Responsibilities include incident and case management, verification of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit to Perform (PTP) procedures, and consistent engagement with site personnel to promote safe work practices. The Safety Manager will also deliver daily safety briefings, reinforcing awareness and accountability across all teams on-site.
Qualifications
✅ OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510
✅ NFPA 70E
Additional Requirements
✅ Ability to work onsite full-time (M-F schedule)
✅ Strong communication and leadership skills in a construction environment
✅ Experience working on data center or industrial projects preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and document incidents, near misses, and safety cases
- Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Verify compliance with LOTO and PTP procedures
- Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations
- Collaborate with site teams to address hazards and implement corrective actions
