Safety Manager-Ludlum Measurements

• Advance and improve the current safety program and policies to maintain compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Lead the corporate safety committee while advancing the team’s overall knowledge of industry accepted safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety training sessions and workshops for strengthening leadership’s and employee’s knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and the like. 
• Improve and advance accident investigation skills and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports, and recommending preventive measures.
• Oversee Workers Compensation program for the business.
• Collaborate with senior and functional leadership, Engineering, Human Resources, and Maintenance to foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health or equivalent industrial experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as the head of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) is preferred and leadership with growing and expanding a program across multiple divisions is a plus.
• Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
