Safeway Assembly

Job Summary:

The Safeway Assembly operator will consist of basic level machine operation that includes working with corrugated material and the use of hand tools.

Duties & Responsibilities 

Includes the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned.

• Performs basic operator duties
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Handling and building of corrugated products
• Hand tool operation
• Perform other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to follow demonstrated directions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read written instruction

 Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55lbs.
• Stand/Walk for full shift (8-12 hours).
• Bend/Twist.
• Ability to work with both hands on a constant basis.
