Sales Account Manager

• Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the attainment of Maynard’s sales goals and profitability.   
• Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.                                   
• Prepares action plans for effective searches of sales leads and prospects.  
• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.                                               
• Provides timely feedback to the Vice President regarding account performance.                                               
• Set up meetings between qualified prospects to discuss prospective projects.                                               
• Obtain and follow up on all RFQs (request for quotes).
• Maintain accurate records of all prices, sales, and activity reports.                  \             
• Prepare proposals and presentations to upper management and customers.                   
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.        
• Oversee sales clerical assistants & sales representatives
• Accept and reject sales orders; negotiate pricing, back charges, and returns      
• Other job duties as assigned.             

• 5-7 Years of experience in sales/account management in steel castings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor in Business highly desired. 
• Ability to use a telephone and computer efficiently
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
