Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is focused on selling direct to owners along with design build control sales. BAS Sales professionals have the opportunity to get out in the field and meet with customers and contractors, listen to their needs and provide long-term solutions. We are looking for an ambitious professional with BAS understanding to be a trusted advisor to our client base. 

This position is responsible for creating and selling innovative customized solutions, critical thinking ability will ensure the best customer experience and result in a long-term strategy. 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:  Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Create long-term relationships that allow customers to accomplish their varied goals, needs, and budgets.


• Work with operations to assure sales and operations methods and procedures are in sync to maximize customer experience.


• Prepare estimates with complete takeoffs of the scope of work.  


• Lead sales efforts, including selling directly to new and existing clients.


• Ensure timely and successful delivery of UHL’s Solutions according to customer needs.  Ensuring existing internal service and contracting processes are sufficient and adhered to.


• Communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form.


• Promote collaboration, partnerships, and positive relationships with customers.


• Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.


• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending improvements.


• Maintains customer confidence by keeping customer information confidential.


• Work closely with mechanical contractors which includes regularly on-site visits with them.

Position Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.


• Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering / BAS.


• Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.


• High level organizational skills.


• Strong Multi‐tasking skills.


• Flexible, willingness to be able to adapt to change.


• Ability to work well with others both internally and externally including in stressful situations.


• Proficiency in standard office computer programs such as MS Office 365, Smartware and Bluebeam.


• Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required.

• Ability to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $140,000 per year Depending on Qualifications
