Michigan Broadband, whose corporate office is in Carney MI is a provider of high-speed communications services consisting of Internet, Voice, Video, Mobile and related services to communities throughout the Upper Peninsula and northern half of the Lower Peninsula, with plans underway to significantly upgrade its network to fiber optic technology over the next 5 years. We are looking for a detailed, highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Administrator.
The Sales Administrator plays a critical support role within the sales organization. This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities, maintaining accurate records, assisting with order processing, and ensuring smooth communication between sales, operations, and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide administrative support to the sales team and sales management
•Process sales orders, contracts, and service agreements accurately and timely
•Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM and billing systems
•Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance tracking documents
•Coordinate with provisioning, billing, and customer support teams to ensure successful order fulfillment
•Assist with pricing requests, quotes, and contract documentation
•Manage sales documentation, presentations, and proposal materials
•Support onboarding of new sales team members
•Ensure compliance with company policies and telecom regulations
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
•1–3 years of sales administration, administrative support, or telecom experience preferred
•Strong organizational and time-management skills
•High attention to detail and accuracy
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
•Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) a plus
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
