Sales & Cashier Associate

Job Summary: As a Sales & Cashier Associate, you'll be the face of our Wilmington store. This role combines customer-facing sales with point-of-sale responsibilities. You will welcome guests, assist them with purchases, promote merchandise and process transactions accurately. The ideal candidate has prior sales or retail experience, but we're willing to train a customer-focused individual eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, answer questions and provide product recommendations
- Operate the cash register, process payments and issue receipts or refunds
- Cross-sell products, introduce promotions and meet or exceed sales goals
- Maintain tidy checkout and sales floor areas and replenish merchandise as needed
- Handle returns, exchanges and track transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory, prepare displays and keep merchandise organized
- Resolve customer concerns and contribute to a positive shopping experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail or sales experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to manage cash transactions with accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation:
- Hourly wage: $14.00 per hour
- Commission and bonus opportunities based on sales performance
