Position Summary:
The Sales & Catering Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Sales and Catering Department by managing client relationships, coordinating event details, and ensuring successful event execution. This position drives group and banquet revenue through exceptional customer service, strong organization, and teamwork across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Provide consistent, exceptional customer service to all internal and external clients throughout the event process.
- Perform administrative duties including updating sales trace system, producing sales and activity reports, maintaining account and contact information, entering tentative/confirmed room blocks, and creating sales contracts.
- Prepare and detail BEOs (banquet event details) to ensure appropriate information is communicated to operations teams for flawless execution.
- Greet client prior to the onset of the function, check in periodically to ensure satisfaction, and to respond to any additional requests.
- Coordinates and communicates with hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct site tours and client meetings as needed.
- Prepare and present accurate function bill to the client and collect payment.
- Create sales and marking materials as needed.
- Attend some networking events
- Maintain organized records of client communications.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and gather event details such as size, menu, and schedule of events.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary starting at $40,000–$45,000, depending on experience.
- Accrued vacation (2 weeks/year to start).
