Classification: Nonexempt

Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Eco Lips, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a leading provider of organic and natural 

personal care and bug repellent products. We sell our products through various 

distribution channels and market segments. Our goal is to provide the best products at 

an affordable price. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling inbound inquiries, and proactively making outbound calls to generate sales and build customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Support: Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and issue resolution via phone, email, or chat and exhibit a positive and professional attitude toward customers at all times. 
  • Order/Data Entry: Take and process orders and accurately document them in the order system. Accurately document customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback in the system.
  • Outbound Sales Calls: Proactively contacting potential and existing customers to promote products/services, qualify leads, and close sales. 
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of our products/services to effectively address customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Follow-Up & Relationship Building: Nurture customer relationships through follow-up calls, emails, and personalized recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to improve outreach strategies and customer satisfaction. Be liaison between external customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product according to customer needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or telemarketing preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying close attention to details
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with customers.
  • Goal-oriented with a self-motivated attitude.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus.
