Legacy Building Solutions is an established and growing company near St Cloud Minnesota that has experience manufacturing, designing, selling and installing fabric buildings on rigid steel frames across the globe.
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Design Consultant to join our team and increase our national presence working in the sports and recreation sector.
While you have probably attended many sporting events in your lifetime, you may not have stopped to think about the hard work that goes into the construction of the buildings. That is precisely where the Sales and Design Consultant comes in. Our ideal candidate would be someone with experience in working directly with the sports and recreation sector, with excellent written and oral communication skills, ambitious, client relationship-building skills, and a strong sales skill set.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow Legacy's Sports and Recreation market division.
Managing and developing new business by leveraging relationships with new and existing clients
Lead sales opportunities and client engagements within the Sports and Recreation Sector
Use company resources as directed throughout the sales process from initial lead contact to close and after construction follow-up. Timely and accurate record keeping in company CRM required
Yearly - Set and maintain sales goals and objectives as defined in Biz plan and approval by VP Sales
Ensure sales plan of actions timelines (defined in Biz Plan) are maintained and milestone are achieved
Develops through networking and maintains business relationships with potential customers
Attend and participate in sales meetings and training programs
Travels throughout North America to conduct business/sales meetings and attend trade shows
Become proficient in all software as used by sales staff for essential job functions (including but not limited to Sales Force, Microsoft Office Suite, Quote Development Software, etc)
Prepares reports of business transaction and keeps expense accounts
Works with marketing to keep account activities and literature up to date
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledgeable in all Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook)
Detail oriented
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3-5 Years of sales experience
Construction experience – Preferred not required
Existing contacts within the Sports and Recreation market division - Preferred
Knowledge in the Sports and Recreation Industry, including, the Collegiate level - Preferred
Some travel required
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products - Required
