Sales and Leasing Specialist

Description of the role:

The Sales and Leasing Specialist at Rocky Mount CDJR is responsible for generating sales and leasing opportunities for our dealership. As a professional salesperson, you will be engaging with customers, demonstrating the features and benefits of our vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance their car buying experience. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships, negotiate and close deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively approach and engage with potential customers to understand their needs and present suitable vehicle options


• Showcase the features and benefits of our vehicles through product demonstrations and test drives


• Negotiate pricing, financing options, and trade-in values to reach a mutually beneficial agreement for both the customer and the dealership


• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently


• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer inquiries and overcome objections


• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure potential referrals


• Regularly update and manage the customer database to track leads and sales

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive sales or leasing is preferred


• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong negotiation and closing abilities


• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers


• Self-motivated and results-oriented


• Valid driver's license
