Responsibilities
- Actively manage sales through the pipeline to ensure quick, error-free deal processing.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between sales and lenders, maintaining clear, proactive, and timely communication.
- Anticipate problems, communicate proactively, and escalate issues for immediate action.
- Perform regular and ad hoc reporting.
- Evaluate lender performance metrics and collaborate to improve applicant experience and turnaround times.
- Work with leadership and lenders to optimize workflows, streamline processing, and drive improvement.
- Support and assist the sales team with training.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in loan processing, underwriting, mortgage processing, or a similar field.
- Physical Demands: Can spend long hours sitting while using computer equipment or standing to deliver/facilitate training.
- Skills:
- Proficient in data entry and administrative reporting with strong accuracy and speed.
- Working knowledge of underwriting processes and lender condition terminology.
- Ability to read and interpret lender documentation and assist the sales team in clearing lender conditions.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and workflows within a CRM platform; HubSpot experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- High attention to detail and exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Technologically adept; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and able to quickly learn new tools or software.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal sales teams and external lenders.
- Additional Requirements: Able to pass a criminal background check.
